The Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem Association helps bring hope, stability, and opportunity to children in foster care in New Hanover and Pender Counties.
Many of these children have come from homes marked by abuse, neglect, substance use, and chronic instability. They often enter foster care carrying fear, loss, and trauma that no child should have to bear. While foster families open their hearts and homes to these children, many do not have the financial means to provide all of the extra support that can help a child heal, grow in confidence, and begin to believe in a better future.
CFGALA helps fill that gap by providing tutoring, camp, sports, arts, clothing, school supplies, and other meaningful opportunities that remind a child they are safe, valued, and not forgotten. Your support does more than fund activities. It helps counter the effects of trauma with encouragement, consistency, and experiences that show a child they matter and that their future can be brighter than their past.
