Anne Sorhagen, Vice-President
Anne Sorhagen became a Guardian ad Litem advocate in 2005. With social work and education degrees from Meredith College Anne found serving as a GAL to be the most meaningful volunteer experience of her life. Anne has extensive experience in business and the nonprofit sector, holding leadership positions for statewide nonprofits as well as her local community. She is a former member of the board of directors for Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina and served as Interim CEO of the organization. Anne has been on the board of Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem Association since 2006. She served on the Airlie Gardens Foundation board for six years. Currently, Anne is Program Officer with the North Carolina Community Foundation, serving affiliate grantmaking and student scholarships in eastern North Carolina.
