Audrey Cox has been a Guardian ad Litem with New Hanover County since 2021. During that time, she has advocated for over twenty children and mentored new guardians. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Texas. She was employed at The Sexual Assault Resource Center as the Volunteer Coordinator, which included recruitment and training of volunteers, fundraising, and hospital response advocacy for sexual assault survivors. Audrey lives in Wilmington with her husband and children.
